All four Committee positions i.e., President, Deputy Pres., Secretary and Treasurer will be declared vacant on the evening and we encourage any persons interested in becoming involved in the running of the Association to ‘put their hands up’ or to simply come along and participate in or observe the meeting.
The GCA has a number of important issues on the agenda for 2006/07 including, but not limited to the following:
- Proposed Western Bypass.
- Graffiti and policing in The Gap.
- Establishment of a Community Centre and Library in The Gap
- BCC proposal to upgrade and realign Gap Creek, Dillon, Moggill, Payne, Illowra and Settlement Roads to establish a major western link road through the heart of The Gap
