February meeting

The next meeting of the Gap Community Association will be held on Monday, February 27 at 7.30pm at the Hilder Road State School, teachers common room.
Items on the agenda will include the Proctor Quarry issue, the Gap Community Centre sub-committee report and funding submission for Brisbane City Council.

Following a recent executive meeting of the Gap Community Association (GCA), President Andrew McMicking wrote to the Brisbane Lord Mayor, Campbell Newman, to enquire about the status of a study of Gap Creek Road.

 

Status of Western Bypass study

Following a recent executive meeting of the Gap Community Association (GCA), President Andrew McMicking wrote to the Minister for Transport and Main Roads, Paul Lucas, to enquire if the study into the need for a western bypass road ? previously titled the “Western Brisbane Road Network Investigation” ? had commenced yet.

 

Coffee Club meeting

As discussed at our January 30 meeting, interested members of The Gap Community Association Inc are invited to attend an informal meeting over coffee and breakfast this Saturday, 11 February at 9am at The Gap Coffee Club.
