Guidelines for meetings

  • A standard agenda will be observed for each meeting (listed below).
  • Additional agenda items can be submitted for consideration by any association member, to any executive committee member, prior to a meeting.
  • Minutes for a particular month?s meeting will be distributed on the night of the following month?s meeting.
Standing agenda for monthly general meetings
  1. Recording of attendance and apologies
  2. New members and confirmation of current membership list
  3. Admin:
    • Minutes from the previous meeting
    • Inwards and outwards correspondence since the previous meeting
    • Treasurer?s Report and associated financial issues
  4. Community issues and campaigns being conducted by GCA: western bypass; Youth/Community Centre etc.
  5. General business
  6. Next meeting

Guest speakers: - should a guest speaker be present at a meeting, he or she will be invited to address attendees during the meeting at a time so determined on the night by GCA members present.

RSVPs, enquiries and apologies in regards to monthly meetings may be made to any executive committee member.
