Action taken over graffiti

In response to a recent letter from The Gap Community Association concerning graffiti on a building at 10-14 Payne Road, Brisbane City Council (BCC) has responded that the owner of the building has been contacted and it has been organised for BCC to remove this graffiti. The owner is pleased for the assistance as he had been using the graffiti-removal kits but the job is too big for the kit.

i think the youth of the gap need a secluded wall or area away from general public eye to be able to do their graffiti on, it has been in the gap for over 15 years, it clearly won’t stop unless they have somewhere they are allowed to.
