Noted that a reply dated October 4 has been received from Retail Management Qld Pty Ltd advising that a Traffic Engineer has been engaged to investigate the concerns raised by the Gap Community Association (GCA). Agreed that this matter be kept on the Agenda for ongoing review.

New office bearers elected at the AGM for 2006/07 were noted as follows:

The issue of most concern to the GCA and local residents is the spectre of a Western Bypass Motorway passing through the heart of The Gap to the east of Enoggera Reservoir.

The Gap Community Association’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday, August 28 at 7:30 pm at Hilder Road State School, teachers’ common room.
