Action taken over graffiti

In response to a recent letter from The Gap Community Association concerning graffiti on a building at 10-14 Payne Road, Brisbane City Council (BCC) has responded that the owner of the building has been contacted and it has been organised for BCC to remove this graffiti. The owner is pleased for the assistance as he had been using the graffiti-removal kits but the job is too big for the kit.

Residential Development at Ashgrove Golf Club

The Town Planners and Community Cosultation Group, PMM, have made available to the GCA a community newsletter and feedback form on the proposed development adjacent to the Ashgrove Golf Course.

Like PMM, the GCA is also keen to guage community opinion on this development so I would encourage residents to complete the feedback forms and return it in the first instance to:

GCA
PO Box 447
The Gap Q 4061

The GCA will then use these responses to get a feeling for the community view before handing them over promptly to PMM.
